Thank you for participating at The Nordic Event For Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage

See you all next time! Please contact us if you would like to be a part of the next Nordic CCUS Expo!

The Nordic CCUS Exhibition

CCUS - A new industry on the rise

The Nordic Carbon Capture Expo is an event that highlights the increasing role of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) in the transition to a netzero carbon economy. Leading international delegates will discuss and show the latest advancements in carbon capture, storage, and transport technology, as well as innovative ways to use CO2 to produce netzero fuels and for other manufacturing processes. Additionally, the event will explore financing perspectives and carbon credits.

This one-day event will bring together a diverse group of 200-300 participants, technology manufacturers, energy companies, engineering firms, the finance sector, forest industry, heavy industry players, chemical companies, various manufacturing organizations, research groups and NGOs. Together, we will explore ways to accelerate the commercialization of carbon removal technologies as a key solution on the path towards netzero carbon emissions. This will be a modern and personal exhibition with focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing. During the Nordic CCUS exhibition you can meet companies within CCUS, listen to interetsting seminars, go on study visits, join out business mingling events within CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage). This allows us to forge new partnerships, learn from industry experts, and stay at the forefront of the latest climate industry developments.

"As a collective of passionate professionals, we are dedicated to provide a exceptional climate exhibition with carbon capture as a focus"

By recycling CO2, the impact on the climate can be minimized. In the Nordic countries, there are approximately 270 facilities that emit more than 100,000 tons of CO2 annually, resulting in a total of over 230 million tons of CO2 emissions. However, the region is unique in its high proportion of biogenic CO2 emissions, with Sweden and Finland leading the way with around 60 % and 40 % of their CO2 emissions originating from biofuels, respectively. The CO2 storage potential in the Nordic region is estimated at 212 Gt, with 209 Gt related to offshore storage and 3 Gt to onshore storage sites.

To scale up CCUS, national policy is key. The Nordic countries have the potential to take a leading position in CO2 removal, with large forest lands, many biogenic emission point sources, large carbon storage capabilities in the North Sea, and relevant technological communities. CCUS is on the political agenda in the Nordic countries, with ongoing discussions and projects in all countries.

A fantastic and personal event

Be a part of the Nordic CCUS Exhibition

Addressing climate change is one of the greatest global challenges that demands immediate action. Many industrial sectors are now turning to new technology to help achieve netzero emission targets. Research by the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has concluded that carbon capture is a crucial technology in the fight against climate change. We at Klimpo are keen to make this fantastic new climate industry a reality and this exhibition is an important step to meet for new partnerships and to learn more!

With years of expertise in sustainability and carbon capture, we strive to make a positive impact on the planet. Our commitment to the environment drives us to offer innovative solutions and create a sustainable future.
